    dxf saving

I have a IGES file I imported and can't find the way to save it to a different view. No matter how I spin it and change views, it always is saved as the same view as a dxf. Is there someting I'm missing?
    Thanks in advance, Tom

I’m a little confused as to what you’re trying to accomplish. Let’s say you have a cube and you want to save it so the right side of the cube is shown as the top view when you import it into your software. To do this you’ll have to rotate the cube 90 deg first using Transform>move>rotate 90 while in Cview 2, then save it as an IGES file. I think IGES in Surfcam always saves in cview 1 regardless of what view your looking at on the screen.

Do you mean Cview? View is only for looking. Do as moldcore suggest.

    Thanks Moldcore.

That was exactly what I needed to do. Good job to understanding my poor description.
