Craftex Lathe Coverted to Milling Machine

Here are 2 pictures of how I converted my 7X8" lathe to a mill. I didn't drill any holes in the machine, instead I fastened a 1/2" thick aluminum plate directly onto the crosslide where the compound mounts. By using 1,2,3 blocks, clamps etc. I managed to make the vise. I also made a carriage brake and stop to lock everything down while milling. I am sure this is nothing new but I thought I'd post it anyway in case anyone is interested.
