    Cool Contours or translate

If you look at the file , I would like to double the width of the double lines around this sign.If I use contour I never get exactly the same profile, if I use translate with scale how do I center it?

    Creatre a point at X= 7.3862 and Y= 4.3773

Then translate/scale with the Scetch/Enter tab and use the Pick/Pick option. Select your line and press spacebar, then clcik on the point twice.

Were those coordinates obtained with center of gravity?

    Hi Claude,
Entity summary with all objects selected...You can use the expression calcs of the field entry points to add the 2 values and divide by 2.

    Red face unequal contour

Not sure what I am doing wrong.
I dont think you can scale an asymetrical form and end up with an equal offset all around...

Yes like jepetara shows, you can offset the four sides seperatly and trim/extend 2 entities to connect the corners.
