    chnc

    hi
i have just purchased my first cnc machine (1980 hardinge Chnc)
I'm going to retrofit it but first i have to run 2 jobs on the old control.
    one do yesterday. Lol
    oops I'm late.
Well i have wrote a program and proved it out on a computer program and it seems to run all the way through.
what I'm having trouble with and a little embarrassed to ask is getting the program to count and start over 500 times. this is just the first of lots of problems i plan to ask your ever knowing minds about lol
Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED
    thanks

    Cool

It depends on which control you have. Is it Siemens or Fanuc?

    program looping

the control I'm writing on is Mach 3 but the machine is an old Allen Bradley (hardinge Chnc) iv ordered the programing and op manual I should get it by the end of the week. That should shed a little light on things. I tried
    M1
    /M99
    M30
alarm sed "call command with no sub in afect...looping" but it did not keep looping?
    time to make the parts
    Thanks
