    Chiller Pump for Fadal Spindle...

My chiller pump has gone and the replacement that I have found pumps at 50GPM in contrast to the old pump that pumps 30GPM.
By using this 50GPM pump, am I causing any damage to my spindle? (Someone has told me that this is not good to overcool the spindle).

There is a pressure relief valve that you can adjust on the pump, so you can turn down your pressure. I used a 160psi pump at one point and I could tune it down to pushing 23psi. Sorry, I don't remember the GPM rating on it.

You are right that running the spindle too cold is bad. Running cold bearings is just as bad as running bearings over heated. The normal grease pack spindle should run around 85 to 95 degrees F. You can place a thermocouple on the spindle nose to check the lower bearings.
