CAD CAM for "family of parts"

    To the guru's of CAD/CAM
What is the latest and greatest parametric, spreadsheet reading, table based, systems which can do a family-of-parts?
    Thinking of xylophone keys,
Same except size. All same size bar stock, lengths vary, mount varies. about 8 parameters each will change.
Previously was done with Gcode macros inside machine control.
Old fashioned. this needs to get 3D.
    Thanks,
    Been doing this too long

This is basic 2,5D milling. Don't do 2,5D milling in 3D, just because it sounds cool and up to date.

The result wont be realy good. For example there are no circles in 3D everything is divided into small straight lines.

    Thanks,
Well you could get a parametric CAD to draw your parts, THEN you can use most any CAM to make the parts.
