    Broaching

    I am an apprentice for general machinist and am trying to figure out the machining forces and clamping forces required to broach a double hex socket head in a cast 4340 steel nested in a fixture? Using hydraulic clamping. I attached a photo of the specs of the wrench with the socket to be broached. I would assume the broach would have to be about 4ft or so? horizontal?
