    Bridgeport Tach Errors

    Hi, everyone!

I'm new here and having issues with my Bridgeport Mill. I'm a laser guy so my big mill is a stranger to me at times (including right now). I'm getting error messages stating "X (Y or Z) Tach Disagrees with Command 1 Tach, 2 Command". I was wondering if there is any advice I could get from anyone familiar with what I may be dealing with here. It happens with every axis and they seem to take turns. Sometimes during the actual running of the machine and often while just homing it. It just stops moving (and the spindle stops, of course) and the error message shows up. I'm wondering if this is a motherboard issue since it's not limited to one axis direction. Thanks in advance!

    Eric.

Just a thought - is your machine running on a phase converter?

I didn't do any of the wiring on this guy, but I looked and didn't see anything to indicate that as running on a phase converter.
