Hello,
I want to create relief from photographs or 2d images.
I have good knowledge of Adobe software and 3d software like 3dsmax.
Modeling a face on max or zbrush takes time.
So I am looking for a software that does that automatically, also using my 2d/3d skills to help it.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I played around with JD Paint BitmapToMesh function but it doesn't give nice results.
Maybe its a photoshop trick ...who knows...

There isn't any software that can do this, although I saw one on Youtube that claimed to, but it wasn't available.
As you said, 3D modeling takes both time and skill.
There's no way around that.Gerry

Maybe 123D Catch from Autodesk, I believe that once the model is complete from the photos you can export a STL file. But I don't know a thing about the software.
