    automatic tool changers

I'm in the market for a router, but my application could really benefit from atc. Does anyone have any experience with the atc systems that are coming out on say, Shop Saber or the equivilent. Are they reliable? My goal is to push the button without fear of missed changes or slipping cutters.

    Thanks to all!

If you are technically oriented, you could try following these plans using a sherline spindle:

Thanks, but I really don't have the time. I'm got to purchase a turnkey system. Years ago, I ran drill/routers that had twelve station auto change, but at times they were tempermental and had to be watched, less they hold onto the tool they were supposed to drop. Not pretty when they go to pick up the next tool with a tool already in the collett.

    Thanks again!

Not sure, other than I'm looking for a turnkey solution and not something to build.
