Hey G'day people,

I've caught a snag with my cnc build - long story short spindle has gone to God...or the tuther place died in a blazing glory of heat and smoke.

Sooo,

Is there an Aussie supplier of spindles I can go to for a reasonably priced spindle.. I don't want to purchase of ebay.. the wait period to arrive, warranty issues later cost of transport etc etc etc..

Happy to buy one thats used and not so abused if anyone is selling one..

What I need is 1.5kw up to 20k rpm and not to be a heavy spindle - the one I had was 5kg which was too heavy causing lots of skips when it was working..

Any recommendations welcome.. and thanks in advance..

Just to share information, I purchased a VFD Powtran, from a seller in Melbourne.. knows his product and is in AU (which is the best thing)... reasonably priced he sells on ebay as well..

All I need now is a local supplier of spindles..
