    4091 Alarm-D

Unable to clear "4091 Alarm-D Var. lost motion cannot be applied. 3 '#2'" on a OSP-P200L.

    Any Suggestions?

didn't see that alarm # in the book, but in special functions manual page 389 there is a chapter on lost motion control that might help you.

You can check the fragment of Your part program in single step mode. Easy to locate the faulty line

The fault did not stop the program from running.

The next day when I got back to the machine somebody had already figured out how to clear it. But nobody knows who exactly did it. Hate when that happens now if it ever comes up again I will have no reference to fixing it.

it's even better if doesn't stops. Just look which line causes the alarm. check dry run also.
Another possibility - maybe alarm was caused because of initial OSP condition before part program start or restart. Even less problem though
