    funuc 6M mod B Fault condition T436 &T437

    Hi I am Colin, I opperate a small manufacturing plant in remot area of NZ I normally service this Murata turret press myself but this frault does not show in my manual and has stopped the press in all functions any help would be appreciated, my backround is electrical servicing but i am a bit rusty so may ask silly questions Fault shows as T 436 and T 437 look forward to a reply. the turret press is a Centrum 1000 controller is a Funuc system 6M-model B using DC servo motors

    Hi Colin,

    1) Look for pulse coder signals in Diagnose DGN 713,714,719
    2) Check LSI chips MB8739AE(H) and their contacts on motherboard and ADD Axis card if present
    3) Check pulse coder feedback cable and connection
    4) Check parameters
    5) Check servo/motor for wear and cable issues

    Hi thanks for your reply,unfortunatly i was in the process of building a new factory and things went horibly wrong, i needed to focus on other maters ,i will be relocating that machine in the next couple of weeks and will try what you have sugested ,thanks for your help and my apoligies for not responing ,will let you know how i get on. regards colin
