I recently downloaded the student version and can not seem to be able to get the tool verification to work. It must be some simple thing I am missing.
Any thoughts?

I draw a rectangle, single-chain-auto, pick side but get a "Sorry, Cant' Create For Opening Stream.

Right click the mouse, it's under CView Plane. It took me a while to find it also. Not sure of the purpose for it. I’m using V5.2 and have had it lock up 2 times in the past 4 hours this morning. Surfware sure knows how to make a quality product….NOT!
Just noticed I started this thread 20 months ago and we’re still discussing bugs in version 5. Where is version 6?

Hey, just joined here...I haven't upgraded since V3...looking at these comments I'm kinda glad.
I may be off subject here but I am a moldmaker, small quantity production, 1 man shop using surf with 2 Fadals. I finally got my spindles dialed in to rigid tap but my format 2 post isn't right. Would anyone here mind copy/pasting their mpost tap section so I can see whats wrong with mine ?
