I am just double checking before I wire my controller up.

1st Question - Wiring Gecko 201's to Powermax 8wire in bipolar parallel:

Gecko <--> Powermax (parallel)
term 3 a
term 4 -a
term 5 b
term 6 -b
- look correct for bipolar parallel mode??

2nd question - Powermax is 2.71v 4.6a unipolar, I will be
powering 2 motors in parallel bipolar mode with a single
24v 15a powersupply, and powering a second group of
2 motors with a seperate supply.
-sound right?? any possible problems??

What your showing has nothing to do with parallel mode. You're just showing where to connect the motor to the Gecko. Do you have the correct wiring from the motor?

You should have:
A pins 5 and 6 (from the motor)
-A pins 1 and 2
B pins 7 and 8
-B pins 3 and 4

This is from the PacSci data sheet for Nema 23 motors, that is what you have, right?

Where did you get that voltage rating? According to the info I have, the 4.6a motors are either 1.5V (P21 and M21) 1.7V(P22 or M22)?

With Geckos, you should only need about 6a for two 4.6a motors.

Gerry, I have purchased a set of bipolar wires from Jason on the forum.
In his instructions he calls the 4 input wires for the motor a, -a, b, -b.
I am just checking to make sure that i wire them 3,4,5,6 respectively.
As for the motors they are P22nsxa-lnn-ns-02, 2.71v, 4.6a. This info
is right off the motor. I wanted a bigger amp pool to draw from, also
the power supplies I belive are switching so they have a lower duty
cycle so being 24v 15a I think they will sucessfully power 2 motors
without any problems. In theory, that I why I am asking.

Thats not what the info I have says. According to the data I have from PacSci, 4.6a is the unipolar current rating, and 2.71V is the bipolar SERIES rating. Bipolar parallel is 6.5a, 1.36V. I have some M22's that list the bipolar series current, but don't list a voltage rating.

The "s" in the model # indicates special, maybe that's why they don't match the specs I have.

Gerry, I double checked the wire diagram from Jason and it matches
the info from PacSci data sheet, so I can be assured that they are
wired correctly for bipolar parallel. My question is still the same are
they wired as follows on a 201:
a to (term3) * -a to (term4) * b to (term5) * -b to (term6)

And you are correct 4.6a for unipolar and 6.5a for bipolar parallel.
I hope my power supply is big enough.
