Over the last year or so I have been developing a CNC router that I thought some of you might be interested in. I have recently built and sold a couple of these machines, and I am soon to have another lot for sale.

The machine I have designed has an effective cutting area of 875mm x 700mm x 180mm (X, Y and Z) and is constructed of aluminium extrusion and professionally machined and anodized 6061 T6 aluminium plate. There are no plastic parts on this machine whatsoever! The linear motion is driven by ball screws and 20mm square linear guides and rails, and I have designed tool holders for either the Ozito/Bosch/Kress size routers and die grinders, or for a 65mm or 80mm spindle. I have attached a few pictures of the machine in various stages of construction, and a couple of videos of the machine in action can be viewed here.

There will be a number of these machines available for purchase towards the end of march, and I will be selling them at a very competitive price. Please note that at this stage I will only be offering the complete hardware of the machine minus electronics.
