    Re-Homing

I ran a search and thought that this may have come up before, but ???

If we try to re-home the machine - it just goes TO where it thinks home is. It does NOT go through the routine again.

Doo to some possible jogging errors we have been able to get it to be ... say 5" out of position, and so it is obvious when it re-homes that it just went there and not go through the routine again.

Issue seems to be at the Galil level.

Now we need to figger out why we were able to get it out of whack in the first place, but this homing issue concerns me. When it's 5" out of position - you can see it. But if it was re-homed and was .050 out - you wouldn't know it untill too late!

Sorry I don't have more details as I am not the one working on it - and I really came here to see if anything popped up on a search, so ...

    Any experience?

We got to see what logic runs when you press the "home" button.

There's an error in your logic.

I don't see it being anything to do with the card, as Karl says, likely a logic (S/W) problem.
