    Acramatic 850 Display Problems

I have an Acramatic 850 controller on which the CRT died (it would only display bright green). I replaced this with another 850 display module of the same revision. The screen on the new module displays an image that is compressed to the center 1cm of screen space. The screen appears to respond to user inputs (the colors will change if a button is pressed). I have tried everything to rectify this problem and am out of ideas. Please see attached pictures to get an idea of what I am talking about. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello,

I had a display go out on my 850. I opened the back of the console and plugged in an lcd monitor. It is a standard 15 pin VGA to the display so I just plugged in a monitor for a quick fix until I get it sorted.

The replacement you got was used? It looks like a vertical scan problem. Try a monitor that you know is good to rule out the display driver. You could try to display a known good image on the CRT in question. A PC for example, just to see if it is scanning vertically with a known good video source.
