    Help G-code No Good

    hello im trying too system out for my roughter deskcnc and sheetcam/mach2
    i made a small dxf and genrated g-code on both.im curently using ezcnc and mach5when i load the g code i shows the part withen a bunch of circals that sround it?? both system codes did this??ive tryed evey post procesor and same rezolt?any help and also mach5 and ezcnc come up with the same thing.the dxf is 2d and does have holes in the part to be contured?

    Check your I,J mode. It sound like it's absolute and needs to be incremental.

    ok thx for answer but ive look threw the program up and down and dont see any thing that stats abs or inc wher my i find this setting?? thx chris

    Post some of your code and explain where you are creating it.

    Are you generating the program in DeskCNC?

    Ger21 is correct. This has happened with my Mach 2 software as well. I had code that I ran before fine. I did an upgrade of Mach 2 to a newer version and the code had large circles all around the part. Somehow Mach 2 had changed it's setting from Inc. to Abs. You must look through the setup screens to find where to change this. I can't remember where and I'm not at a Mach 2 computer now.
