    G540 Power LED

    Hello,

Trying to get a G540 running and have a few questions:

    1) The power LED is not lighting (but the fault LED is on RED). I assume the power LED should be on whenever the G540 has power (even if it's in fault). Is this true?

    2) How can I determine which rev of the G540 I have? There is no serial number or rev number on the unit that I can see, but there is a hand-written "I9" on one end of the front panel. Also, there is a front-panel mounted charge pump slide switch, if that matters.

    Thanks for any info.

    Steve,

The green light will not come on until the G540 eStop switch is connected and it see's a charge pump signal. (unless the charge pump switch is turned off) .

If it has a 9 written on the front cover it is relatively new.

I just finished a conversion a few weeks ago and the customer purchased directly from Gecko within the last 2 months.
