Hello,
i intend to use EMC2 for my selfmade CNC router. I think it´s a quite nice progam and it´s Linux. As i know from Mach3, with this software it is possible to orient the workpart by touching two points for the first axis and two points for the second axis. So far i found no information on the common EMC2 pages. I added a picture from the Mach3 manual, there you can hopefully see what i mean.

In the development version of emc2 there is coordinate rotation. (you would have to do the math or have your gcode program do the math - a little trig never hurt anyone. )

as i understand your answer, there is no functionality comparable with the mach3 alignment possibilities integrated in ECM2. Thanks for your answer.
