    Machine choice

I would like to get into cnc lathe and mill for home use/hobby.

What would be the best machine to start with? I don't want to buy a cheapie machine then wish I have spent and little more for a quality machine.

    What are yall's recommendations?

I real good on computers and have some CAD experience, and would like to have a machine I could user both manual and CNC capable.

    Thanks!

I would say the first thing to do is to figure out what you are going to be machining. Size material, axis, to start with. I have seen good luck with purchasing used machinies too.
