hi this is my first time to ever post and hope im doing it right i have a makino edm ec 3025 approx 1988
i havent used it in a month and i turn it on and get a alarm code 0020 battery drop the book says it might be in the power supply but i cant see a battery i tried makino but they wouldnt help me unless i gave them $2500. for phone support and i dont think the machine is worth much more then that.
dose anyone know where the battery might be located or what board i need to have repared

Hi, i have a makino ec 3025 1986 and i'm having trouble figuring out how to send my program to the machine using mastercam. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

thanks for the reply. I'm guessing mastercam can't be used to send the program? what about hyperlink? if wincpin is the only way to go ill get it. I've went through the books for this machine but i'm unable to find what communication ports to use in order to communicate with the machine. (baud rate, stop bit, etc.)

EC 3025...open cabinet..front door...on left will be a series of cards. 3 of these cards will have three flat batteries on the front edge on each card(they are connected together and each battery is about the size of a quarter).You can replace batteries while power is on and not loose parameters....(be carefull...
not recommended). Otherwise, power off..change batteries...write down parameter 3011and 4011. Load parameters from tape and after installation, input 3011 and 4011 numbers
or square up wire with block...this will replace 3011 and 4011 settings.
