    ROUTER TABLE MODIFICATION

Hi everybody, has it is I have router table with 3 motors(axis), it’s the HobbyCNC Pro kit with the 300oz/in and the 24Vac 10 amp PS.

I would like to make a modification by turning this to an ornamental mill EX: Legacy 1800.

For this I will need 4 axis rack&pinion, what I was thinking on doing, adding a 4th Axis Upgrade Kit and take two of the motors that I already have and put them on the Y axis and make them work as slave also adding a belt reduction of somewhere around 4:1, the other one on the X also 4:1, then buy a 640oz/in (Kelling KL34H280-45-8B with G203V from Geckodrive) for the Z and for the A axis a 906oz/in (Kelling KL34H295-43-8B with G203V from Geckodrive) and a PS for the Kelling motors and drives, my little experience tells me that my PS won’t be up to the task, handling all these motors.

What I would like to know if first of all this have any sense and if so what PS do you recommend for the new motors and maybe some spare Amps in case that my motors reveal not to be strong enough and eventually might have to change them for the 640, can I use two PS, the one for my existing kit and one the for the new motors and drives. About the BOB one or two, the existing one and another one for the new drives add a new parallel port.

Need your help on this project, any suggestions are welcome.

    Thank you
