    Power supply sizing and source

    Hello -
This is my first post to the forum and I apologize if the post is in the wrong place or inappropriate.
I'm working on a project that consists of 2 axis....run by very old electrocraft motors. The power supply has died and since it is 38 years old, repairing or simply replacing with the same is not an option.
I have the specs on the 2 motors and have also settled on replacement drives/amplifiers
So my question is: How do I size the power supply, and where can I purchase one from?
    These are the drives:

    http://www.electrocraft.com/products/drives/DA47/

I plan on using one each ie one 9 amp drive and one 18 amp

    Thanks for any help

First, what happened to the P.S.? They are are usually easily repairable if standard unregulated linear supply, there is nothing much to them.
Otherwise there is someone on ebay that sells both custom transformers or the complete supply, Anatek ebay name Jonango.
What is the voltage rating of the motors?
If the motors are old units, make sure you check the brushes and commutators for wear.
BTW, many Brushless DC amplifiers can be used for brushed motors, this allows for later replacement of the DC brushed with DCBL, should they fail at some later time.
