Steel workbench on casters - how to provide leveling?

So I'm welding together super heavy duty workbench made from steel square tubing and then placing 1/2" steel plate on top to provide a nice level surface (I believe the steel vendor quoted 1/8" flatness over 10ft).

However I would like to have this on casters and I have found some casters from colson that I would like to use but due to some variations on the frame of the table it doesn't sit flat (some wobble).

What is the recommended way to use casters and allow leveling?

I was thinking about making a large male thread (1"-12 ) or something like that and welding that to the caster and then putting the female thread on the bottom of the workbench legs. That way I can adjust the height of the caster by simply threading more or less.

Any ideas - perhaps an easier approach?

    cheers,
    Paul

check out accesscasters.com for leveling casters.

zambus.com also has leveling casters, but no prices.

Put some levelling screws on that not only level the table but lift it up off the casters when it is in use. This not only stops the table rolling away when you lean on it, it also prevents flat spots forming on the casters if you are using plastic wheels that are stationary for a long time with a load on them.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
