Looks like a DC version of the ZAY7045FG. Table and working envelope is a little smaller. It's 3000 RPM is a bit better than 1250 RPM offered by the ZAY7045FG. Motor power down to 1.1kw from 1.5kw. But a much lighter unit 220kg vs 440kg.

Hmmm... if I had my time again, I might have picked this unit over the ZAY7045FG.

    It's a Rongfu 45 clone, a good looking one.
I have emailed about 15 clone manufacturers in china and am finding it hard to get details on their clones.
I might save $1000.00aud importing one myself, but who knows what I'd get and no sales support to speak of.
This clone is $400.00aud cheaper than Hare and Forbes one.

    Looks like a good deal.

It seems to be somewhat smaller than the RF45 and clones.
Titan has an RF45 clone (the ZAY7045FG) which I have one of.

I think importing one yourself would be a nightmare, there are lots of one-off costs. You'd be better off importing a container and reselling all but one!

I've found Stuart from Titan very helpful (even after he had the money!), and would buy from him again (I keep trying on ebay). Look closely at prices - His ZAY7045 includes alot of extra's that others just don't.

As for local support, I've been able to go 10min up the road to Hare & Forbes for minor spares (external stuff I busted - their HM-45 is pretty much an exact match).

Cool, thanks Ivan. It's always best to hear from someone who actually purchased one, nice to know the HM45 parts are a close match to Titans.
Your right about dimensional differences, they all tend to differ in the X axis travel and table length. (there must be 30 or 40 clones of these in the world)
They all seem to weigh 330 - 370 kg.
The import path only works out if its under $1000.00aud to avoid import tax and are a known brand with domestic spares.
I think they are getting sick of tightarses like me and now only shipping in minimum quantities.

O.k, drove to Nunawading, took a look at the DM45.
Immediately went down Stud Road to look at HM45.
Fiddled all the levers, looked over them.
The DM45 takes a lot of beating, a good purchase.
