    5/32 endmill holder

Does anyone know where I could find a 5/32 end mill holder for an R8 taper machine? I would like to use one for predrilling 10-32 tapped) holes in some aluminum. Due to the tool changes I will be doing, I would like to try the endmill holders to help preset the length of the tools.

    Thanks

    Dan

ER11 collet holders is probably the best your going to do. Unless you get a 1/8" EM holder and bore it open.

An R-8 collet in 5/32" size is not at all uncommon. You should be able to buy one from just about any industrial supply house. Fair warning though, if you're using a carbide end mill, you'd better get a high-quality collet, such as a Hardinge, to assure minimal runout.
