Thanks for all of you who view this and reply..
Thanks also to all of you have posted in other threads that I have read and aided in my education thus far...
Now to my question...
I have recently designed, and built a scale model, of my 5 axis machine.
However, it has become clear to me, that using the geometry, paths, and design, is going to require me to use two (2) motors to move my Z axis.
The use of one motor in the center (as typical in most designs) will not work as it will be in the middle of my work area, and the use of one motor on one side will torque the axis...
Image if you will that the Y axis is in the horizontal portion of the letter H.
And the Z axis is the twin vertical portion.
Question: Is it simple enough to configure, sync, and drive twin motors?
Thanks for the help!
