proLIGHT2000 PC Board & DOS Information - HELP!

Hello, I have prolight 2000 (old version) and I'm looking to get more information on the PC board connectors (ie... P15 etc...) Wiring by the servo motor would be helpful too.
This machine will not be use for cutting any material but will be use to move testing sample (R&D purposes). Instead of using traditional controller (DOS) I will use LabVIEW to control the machine. However, I'd like to use DOS to test it.

In addition, I'm using Windows XP and also learned that I need the install the DOS Emulator, but when I tried to use the controller (PLM2000 exe.) the PC and proLIGHT is not communicating. What else do I have to do after installing the DOS Emulator?

    Thanks,
    CNCRookie

Please disregard the pc board informations. All I need for now is how to make it to work using Windows XP with DOSBox 0.72 installed.

    Thanks Again!

    prolight

i just been throught the same problem with my prolight 2000, if you want to test the machine you can do it with windows xp.

this it will give you some communication problems but for testing porpuses is good enough.

you need to change the serial port setting due the configuration on xp and windows 98 differs.

    ok
you need to open the device manager after com 1 or 2,

    settings

u need to set the baud rate on 14 800 bit some like that im not sure the exact number.

    data bits= 7

    flow control= none

and the very last one ( dont remember) = hardware

u need to use command prompt to open the prolight software.

i cuted one part like this, but finally i decided to buy a windows 98 computer.

send a private message and i will give you my phone number.
