Hey Guys, Here's our problem, we run three haas vmc's and we run a lot of aluminum, 6061, 7075, and a lot of Cast Aluminum. We machine a lot of hydraulic manifolds with a lot of custom holes with port and cavity holes. Surface finish is a must with these manifolds and threads are critical also. Currently we are having to use Tap Magic on a lot of these manifolds for tapping and we are tired of it. We have tried SimCool, Valenite, Oak Flow, and SealCool with all of the same sucess. #6 - 7/16 holes are typicaly cut tapped or thread formed and these are the ones we have the most problems with. Currently we are using SealCool 9229?! I think at a 8-10% on the refracto. Does anyone have a suggestion of some coolant to try? We where going to try Blazer but the rep in our area got the boot and know we have noone... Thanks in advance for the help.
Josh
