I am posting this as a solution to a problem I recently had on my Centroid M-50 control running CNC7 control software for DOS.
There seems to be a severe lack of information on these controls on the internet and on CNC zone, but the platform was used on every Centroid control from the early 90s until 2000 so I'm sure a lot of people still use them including myself.
This applies to every centroid control running CNC7 from DOS or Dos-based windows platforms. I don't know if it applies to the Linux version or not. And its not in the user manual.
This is Centroid tech bulletin #23 and restores your CAMs menu for access to Intercon, Mastercam, Millwrite or other cam software. Note-- You must have the software installed-- this merely gives CNC7 the ability to open the programs and likewise, access to the part-programs you have created in them.
