    Bridgeport/Romi Speed fluctuation

We have a Bridgeport Romi Lathe that has a speed problem. When programmed for a certain speed it runs about 10-15% slower than program. We have changed the encoder and checked for belt slippage. We can get it a little closer by changing the setting on the motor controller. I am of the opinion that the controller needs to be replaced . Anyone out there had a problem like this? Thanks D.

Hello- I am a newb to CNC machinery. I hope to learn more. I wonder if
your service voltages and line draws of the motor are in specification.

There is a "gain" parameter for the spindle speed. I have to be in front of the machine to find it. But it is around parameter 71 I think.
Go to DOS, type in PFM.exe enter, cursor down to the parameter editor. cursor to the parameter needed, edit and save.
