I am looking for help in transfering my programs in my HAAS machine from the machine to a computer as a backup. I can transfer them 1 at a time using the SEND RS232 but with 300+ it will take some time.

My HFO suggested that I use the advanced editor.

Edit - F1 - I/O - SEND RS232 - (SELECT PGMS) - WRITE

This seems to work at the control but the problem is at the PC. Everything is received as one big file. I will have to cut & paste each program. I would be better off sending each one by itself.

I do not have floppy drives or USB on this older machine.

I have Windows XP pro as the operating system.

Any ideas?

I have a program written in Visual-Basic that takes your "ALL" file and splits it into separate files and save them to your hard drive with a "Long Name" if your customer and drawing number are embedded in your program text.

If you would post an example of your first 2-3 lines of your programs I can make sure it will work and then Zip it into a folder and either post here or send it to you by E-mail
