Arrow Help with error 101 fanuc omate - m

    Gentlemen

We need to clear the controller memory due to a error 101 stating memory was corrupted while powering off the machine.
We have set PWE to 1 and did the power on/ DELET combination to no effect.
Is there any other way to clear the memory? We tried a power/delet/reset combo also to no effect.

Its a 1989 bridgeport interact 412 with a fanuc o mate m controller. I have the pdf manual, but couldn't find any help there.

    Thanks in advance

With pressing the [delete] key and turn on the machine without depressing it, this will clear the programs only, pressing [reset] and [delete] simultaneusly and turning on the NC will clear all the memory contents. If this does not clears the memory then it might be a problem in the memory baord. I suggest that you check if the procedure is fine, if it is, try to replace the board and test.

I was not doing the procedure correctly. I have now successfully erased my error situation, Thanks for making me look at this a bit more on the rational side

does the [delete] power on sequence erase all the programs in memory or just the current one? I am trying to set up the machine to do drip feeding and want to make sure of the consequences before trying it.

Make sure you do not have the 9000 programs edit enabled, or you will lose them.
