I've only ever had it take a few minutes to transfer/convert a disk for me. I would restart the transfer and see if it continues to hang up. If it does, please give us an idea of what you're working with, 8" floppies, 3.5" 720k or 1.44Mb, what machine control, etc.

    hi okumaguy
    i had used 1,44 Disks 3,5 inch,
had pc running over night, and the next day it was finishd, tried this with 2 other Disks, and it was the same time.
As it was 1000 Files, the time should be normal.
another Question: have some Files on the Disk that begins with \ like \a.min
as the user worked on a 5020 and have no a \ on the keyboard i think he can not make a Mistake.
    any idea?
the osp convert could not handle this Names and abortet after some hours.
    thx
