    uploading a program

    I am trying to upload a program to a 1992 citizen L20.
I made a cable as per instructions found on cnczone. 25 pin to 9 pin
It works fine for downloading to the computer. But it doesn't seem to want to take in data. I am using Hyperterminal.
Is there anyone who can tell me what things to check?
I have removed .txt from the file name
what protocol should I be sending? xmodem.....or should I choose send text file?
How do you get the machine ready to receive...what port? what device?

    Hi Russell,
Dont know if you still require the info but this is from our L20 roughly the era. EDIT / I/O / SCROLL DOWN (COMMUNICATIONS PARAMETER)
    Attachment 204192
I also use a USB dongle from Startech.com and this works perfectly both ways

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I have the same issue.
