Advice Needed For Selling A Mill

    Guys,
I'm going to sell a knee mill soon. I'm even thinking of listing in on eBay. What should I watch for? What does F.O.B. mean? I can't ship it, so the buyer will have to pick it up.

Please advise. I've never sold a mill.

    Thanks in advance.

F O B is free on board or sometimes freight on board. It is the point at which the responsibility of the goods transfers from shipper to buyer. In other words F.O.B. Chicago would mean the machine is to be picked up in Chicago by the buyer or one of his agents -possibly a shipping company- with all costs from then on to be borne by the buyer. If selling on Ebay or some other like Craigslist you should specify if you will load the machine or crate it and if so how much you will charge for doing so. Also lots of good pictures are advised. Show the condition of the ways and table.
I used to be appalled, now I'm just amused.
