    leveling

    My machine table has a banana shape on X axis (about .08mm on 1000mm) and a constant slope on Y axis(about .05mm on 500mm). Could it be a leveling issue?? It is a hardinge VMC1000.

    How are you determining the shape streight edge or a indicator hung from the spindle and where are you taking your readings T slot's aren't always streight and the table or way's could be worn Good luck Kevin
