I am trying to calculate my steps per centimeter or millimeter.
Because my lead screw is 19mm per turn, and translating it to TPI (turns per inch?) is like 1.33684210526315789473684210526316 .
Is there any know calc like that but for millimetrics?
I am trying to get as much exactness as possible, might do it by hand after all.

If you have 19mm/revolution and use microstepping (10x), you will have 19/2000 mm/step. This amounts to .0095 mm/step, or .000374 inches per step. This seems like a reasonable distance per step. Depending upon your application's need for speed, a stepping rate of 25 KHz will result in a speed of 561 IPM; good for plasma use.

When I see 19 as a metric value, I get an itchy feeling. 16 or 20 is more used. And yes (25.4 / 4) * 3 = 19.05. So it looks more logical that Konstantins pitch = 3/4 inch.
