I have down loaded Mach 3 demo version in my house then copied it to a cd then loaded it on the com in my shop. I do not have internet access in my shop. My comp. in the the house is XP home and the screens are perfect. The comp. in my shop is XP Pro and I get 3 screens in one on the lathe screen and I get the top tool bar in the reset button in then milling and plasma screen. I cannot get the reset button to turn to a solid green. I tried to disconnect it from the driver board but did not change. I did reboot imediatly after install. The only thing I have been able to control in the spindle on my lathe. I have not been able to get the stepper motors to move. Possibly something in the back ground running cauing this? Please help.

I haven't set-up Mach3 on a lathe yet but, I will be soon.

Are you using a breakout board(BOB)? What type?
My BOB has to be turned on after Mach3 has started for it's charge pump to work properly..... uhgh... It took me awhile to figure that one out.

Have you configured the ports & pins, steps in the motor tuning, etc..?
I missed a few things when setting my mill up.
I must have watched the Mach3 videos a half dozen times before I got everything right.

The board I am using is an easy-cnc board and does not require a break out board it does have one intigrated onto the driver board. I have went through the manual and set up the pins. I have ordered the video due to I have dial up service but have not recieved it yet. Hoping the video will help me.
