Hi not sure if this is what you want but on an M2 if you hold Auto + F2 at the same time it will switch to EIA mode.

Most Mazak machines communicate using their own proprietary protocol so most simple DNC software won't work. Mazak obviously want you to spend a load of money buying their software and conversational programming tools.

On many machines you can switch the protocol off and run in standard ISO. On an M32 this would be something like this

G19 = BaudRate = 2 (4800)
G20 = StopBits = 3 (2 stopbits)
G22 = Parity = 0 (Even)
G23 = DataBits) = 3 (This will switch the Mazak to 8bits but they also count the parity as a bit so set your PC software to 7 bits)
G24=1
G25 = 0
G26 = 0
G27 = 0
G28 = 0
G29 = 3

Set the PC to 4800, 7bits, Even Parity with RTS/CTS flow control

Obviously in ISO mode you won't be able to do any offline conversational programming. If you want to do that then you might consider the software from Griffo Bros. I'm not sure of their webiste but of you google for Griffo bros you'll find it. It's not cheap though.

I have the mazak data transfer program and cimco. they both can drip feed.
My mach. says no dnc option. Thanks for you'r reply. I'll look into those params.
I can load files back and forth and run and save, but some programs are too large for this old beast and I hoped to drip feed with DNC
