    Fanuc 18i-T looses position when E-stop hit.

    We have an Okuma & Howa with a Fanuc 18i-T control. The guy working it hit the e-stop when a tool went west. He replaced the tool reset and ran the machine then......bang !! The machine had lost its position after the e-stop had been hit. This is fixed by powering the machine down and re-referencing. But the problem re-occurs every time the e-stop is hit.
    Is this a parameter enablement or a servo fault ???

    Fanuc 18iT E-Stop Problem

    Dear Radish,

    Which axis looses position?

    Is it Gravity axis or any other axis?

    How much is the movement?

    Kindly clarify.
