Does anyone know the code to make the 2100 go back to the beginning of the program without resetting the data? I have tried M2 and M30. The control will not accept a M99?? When I'm running in production I have to press reset data key then scroll all the way to the top of the program before starting again. Please help.

I end my programs like this :-
N1473 G28 M19
(MSG,)
N1474 M30

I thought replacing the M30 with M02 would have worked. I have not tried this for a long time & the only prog I thought I had that worked like you want has been deleted (famous a2100 hard drive failure)

Anyhoo if you still have to press data reset then instead of scrolling all the way to the top press CTRL & HOME (it looks like an arrow pointing back & upwards)

Thanks for the advice. I actually got it to go to the beginning of the program by putting a (GOTO[line #]) and then at put [line # from previous bracket] at the top of the program. I took the M30 out and put a M1 on the same line as the braketed info. Thanks again.
