Hi oljeg,
A 100 watt Synrad laser costs $16,000USD so I would think a 200 watt one would be around $32K - $36K plus the 80 amp power supply which will add several hundreds of dollars to the cost.
Rich.
I am not completely useless.......I can always serve as a BAD example.
Just for the tube???
Wow - 'hate to think how much the whole machine is then...

Hello,
did anyone gave laser tube (Sinrad model 48-1) on refill at lokal gas service?
What is the procedure - important informations to make proper refill?
I know it should be used CO2 gas. With how many bars (unit of pressure) should be filled? What installation - slip road is used?
Have an old GCC Laser Pro model L-12 (12 W) made in 1999.
Think this information would help lots of people.
Thanks
Mery,
If only it were that simple.
The Synrad 48-1 tube contains a mixture of gasses 5% CO2, 15% Nitrogen, 80% Helium and maybe others and it is in the tube at below atmospheric pressure.
Tweakie.
CNC is only limited by our imagination.
The local gas service can probably provide bottles of 'laser mix' gas for a flowing gas laser but re-filling a Synrad tube is a different matter.
The exact mix is proprietary but the base is as Tweakie mentioned, I would check with a local Synrad supplier or perhaps Litografa has a suggestion.
Zax.
You can not regas Synrad lasers without specific knowlege (exact mixture, gas pressure etc).
