I just picked up a 15 inch Palmgren rotary table with cross slides. In spite of it being in good shape, I attempted to take it apart to clean, and reset adjustments as needed.

I removed the cross slide from the bottom. ok

But after removing or loosening all of the bolts on the turn table and it's base, it wil not come apart. On the base there are two 1/4 inch bolts 1/2 inch apart. Two pairs screw into the outer edge of the base opposite each other. I removed two of the small bolts and the internal bracket they were holding fell into the enclosed cavity. There are two more of these on the opposite side but I have just loosened those. Im assuming the part that dropped inside is a lead retainer, gib or guide. Now the rotary crank turns but the lead inside does not engage and the table spins freely without control.

Does anyone have a parts diagram or procedure or idea on how to get this thing apart.

thanks in advance.
