Hi,
I can't home the X or Z.
Attempt to home the Z come up with a error "500 over travel in the +Z". It fails to move to or away from home.
The X will move away from home but not to home.
Any idea greatly apricated.

If your current location is already overtravel, I recommend that you disconnect the machine and move manually (rotating yourself the screw) to a location that will overcome the limit.
Check if the limit switches are working, then proceed as normal.
I have wound the screw back manually but it doesn't make any difference.
.I wonder if the position encoder is showing the incorrect number on start up and assumes its to far.
It the machine needs home, i think the encoder is not absolute (I can be wrong).
if the zero return way is on + plus side ,you can increase the limit on paramater 1320 with 999999 ,move the axis in minus direction around 100mm,make the zero return and fater that put back the value you found on 1320
I tried that and it still didn't let me move in the -Z, I also can't move the X in the home direction. I have checked the drives and it doesn't show any error. Seems the Z & X will only go in one direction.
Thanks for your suggest all help is greatly apricated.

did you have a tool setter on the machine or the machine had one?The tool setter can block the machine go only in measuring direction
Also can you send a picture with the first diagnose page while you try to jog the axis?
When I use 1320 at 99999999 it allows me to travel to the home but I can't move back. When I put 1320 back to 5000 (what it was) and wind the ball screw back by hand with the power off. Power up thentry to move to home it errors. I attached pic's.

post the machine position screen when you overtravel and also post what you have in parameters 1815 and in 1320 1321
The machine has a inbuilt tool setter and the points that don't work relay to the same as the axis that don't drive in.

If I change 1320 Z to 99999999 as you suggested before I can move right to home on the Z axis but if I leave it at the current setting it just errors with out moving at all. Attached are the images you requested.

Is axis 3 the C axis?
What is axis 3?
in the parameters it seems that the 3 axis is using absolute encoders and not incremental
you need to go to the reference point if you know it and make the APZ from 1 to 0 ,restart machine, put back the APZ to 1 ,restart again
in this way the new reference point is taking where you let the axis
Axis 3 is the turret tool position.
By reference point do you mean the home position.
Do you know the parameter to turn off the tool setter as it maybe causing the issue and if we can tell the controller it doesn't have one we may get the X & Z to move home.
Were do I find APZ setting?
the tool setter is disabled by keeprelay and is done on PMC by manufacturer, you should have it on the book
APZ-1815 parameter
1815 is already "0" not "1" as I expected see below.
What happens if I change the limits in 1320 and 1321 to 99999999?
