Hello,

I am new to using a sub-spindle and can not figure out how to reference the B axis (sub spindle) to my part in the main spindle so that the machine knows where the face of the chuck is.

This seems very basic to me but in all of the research I have done I cannot find anything that simply shows how to reference the sub-spindle chuck face to the part(held in the main spindle) for the B axis travel.

I'm using Fusion and the machine is a 22 ST10Y with sub.

For example, I'm not looking to do any machining on the sub spindle for this job, I simply needing to do a part grab for support. From my understanding in Fusion the "Sub Spindle Grab" and "Sub-Spindle Return" would be under the main spindle setup. However the two operations use the same Z zero as the rest of the setup. If I post the code and run it, the code will error out because the B travel is a positive number is fusion but all B travels on the lathe are negative numbers from zero.

Hopefully this makes sense,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
