Hey guys, I have a Falcon 200 with an Alarm 44-52 X axis encoder error. I have seen a few posts dealing with Arrow machines turning off the glass scale encoder. Does anyone know if this can be done on a turning center?
I have the service manual and the electrical for this machine. Neither have the encoder mentioned that I can find. So I assume Cincinnati built these machines without scale feedback.
The machine was pretty nasty when I purchased it a year ago. I noticed the air line was broken in several places so I thought the scale might have been dirty inside. After cleaning I still receive the same alarm.
