HELP PLEASE.... MILL DOWN! Need help on how to gain access to the Y Lube Fitting

I'm trying to remove the brass fittings for the Y-Axis to unclog the brass oil reducer fittings, but the access is so tight that it will be impossible to get a open end wrench to turn the fittings.

I was able to get the z-axis, but the Y-Axis is another story.

I must be missing a trick or something that will make it easy to access the fitting?

Or can the bearing slides be slid out somehow by loosing the large allen bolts? ( after the slide has been disconnected from the manifold )

I would do one slide at a time ( with some support under the table in that corner to prevent sagging )

One additional question.... I would need to know the proper torque when re-tighening the bolts.

    This is on a 2018 Haas DM-1

    Thanks,

    Kent

Re: HELP PLEASE.... MILL DOWN! Need help on how to gain access to the Y Lube Fitt

Ended up grinding my open end wrench down to the point that it looked like a tool a dentist uses... but that was the ticket....

I cut a slot on one end for the 1/8 copper tube to slip through

I did it without having to do anything with the table & bolts..
